How Did You Become a Trader?

LZ Granderson: I had an interest in financial markets really from childhood and hearing stories about markets from my grandfather. He didn't start trading until the late 1970s while he was in graduate school. In 2004, he left his full time academic position at a medical school in Syracuse, New York to work with traders at a market making firm in electronic futures in Chicago. The S.O.B. futures looks at intraday patterns of the market based on buying and selling pressure with various unique indicators.
