According to the definition, broadly shared on the American left, yeah, I think you basically the colloquial definition of fascism. And it's sort of like in a way, it's a new package for an old thing, which is like the traditional values, right? The magazine actually kind of fought me on it, not because they thought I was using it unfairly, but because they thought it would overshadow the whole thing. So long story short, I wasn't allowed to use fascism per se to describe what my gut reaction to this was. But there are some people who push back very, very strongly against that word and say, no, no, we are not that.
