"Lady Bird" is about a young woman who falls in love with her best friend. The film's ending has been criticized for being too somber, but the director says it doesn't feel that way. "It somehow manages to like kind of wear all the hats of as far as endings go," said writer-director Andi M and producer Michael Aronson.
