Jean Wolf has been writing for a long time, it was in the military when he was younger. He started making a name for himself before the 80s where he released his most kind of ground breaking work. Since then he's been releasing standalone works and hasn't really revisited like a bigger kind of more developed setting that needs multiple novels to explore fully.
