In order to form a coalition government, Netanyahu gave religious Zionism party leader Bezel El-Smotrich who is an ultra-nationalist settler. He's given him sweeping powers over the West Bank. Saudi officials reaffirmed that they seek a Palestinian state as a preconditioned forward normalizing with Israel.
