Preconditioned Calves Reduced BRD Treatment Rates
In 2020, we compared a group of 250 preconditioned calves that moved from the ranch straight into a feed lot and compared them to animals of the same weight and same frame that were bought at the auction market. And we saw that the auctioned calves were three times more likely to get sick. So obviously that's important. What kind of reduction in treatment rates would we see in those preconditionsed calves in some of those more recent trials anyway, I guess? What have we seen?
