Is God Unchanging?
Old Testament scholars like R.W.L. Moberley say we need to take a closer look at what is going on in these different biblical passages. They do not teach that God is completely and utterly unchanging, they simply teach that God will not change his mind about the promises that he has made. The strong doctrine of immutability cannot be consistent with certain biblical passages that explicitly state that God does change.
