Data Storytelling Versus Dash Words?

How do you think about telling data stories, and how do they merge with dash words? I feel like a lot of people say, oh, i have a dashboard, i'm telling the story. That's just, like, lett explore the data. But there needs to be some sort of insight that that helps you to then that leads to some sort of action being takendaand i guess you could call that a story. You're not necessarily going tha next step and extracting them. It allows other people to do it, you know.
