CNN's Adam Goldman is in San Francisco for a stats breakthrough summit. He says the highlight of day one was seeing 18-year-old Emily Whitehead, first girl to be treated with CAR T for blood cancer. "It just kind of brought home in very human terms, the kind of the power of these CAR T of these cell therapies," he says.
