The Farmer's Market Outlook: Good News to Bad News for Farmers
The employment numbers from that same manufacturer's report showed a reading of 54 point two, which basically means that manufacturers are generally adding workers to their pay rolls. There was one note of caution in this otherwise good report. If you are in new york state, for example, manufacturers aren't doing so well at all. Factory activity plunged last month by the second most since two thousand and one.
