What Can We Learn From the Role That Ukraine Played in World War II?

The land we know is ukraine, and has been a sovereign count now, played in that war. I mean, i get a terrible sense, in a way, of the the phlegmatic response of many ukrane an to a crisis to day. And anybody old enough to remember it will know that it's something that happened to you crane, 80 years ago. Many of them might remember that it happened to you just over a hundred years ago, too.
