How to Get Follower Numbers From Multiple Relays
A typical noster client would connect, like you said, to 10 or 20 relays. And then you will get your feed by hitting up all those relays and kind of querying them for the people you follow. So instead of that, we put the caching service that connects to all of the publicly accessible relays that we can find. It collects all of the events, everything that's being published in real time and stores it in a way that's highly available from the RAM.
