What Is Stills Decevis?
Your mum also had this incurable condition called Stills Decevis. How did it affect her and you as a family? So it's a very aggressive juvenile, in her case, form of arthritis that started with her when she was 11. All her joints got inflamed. She couldn't walk, she was in hospital for a year when she was a teenager. The prognosis was that the immune system sort of turns on itself. For my mum, that sounded like a challenge that she was going to meet.
