The Importance of Consciousness

The combination of consciousness and AGI is perhaps the most potent thing that would be in our minds. That is really dawning in new civilization potentially that's going to coexist with us. And that to me is again the thing that's most exciting and terrifying at the same time. It is exactly like opening the door when you've arrived at this exoplanet that has intelligent life. The consequences are profound, but I think we have a little bit more control than an alien invasion.
