Aegon's Grace Was Unsatisfied With His Kingsguard
Aegon was particularly unhappy with his Kingsguard, Marks and Waters being Lord Commander presided over his mother's death. He didn't like Mervyn Flowers or Sir Amory Peak. The obvious influence of Unwind is overwhelming here. And thankfully for the King, Unwind was gone by then, not dead.
