How I Grew Up in Clay County, Tennessee
Clay County, Tennessee is about 40 miles up on the Kentucky line. There was this big textile factory in Salina and that was like the beating heart of the town's economy. Everybody's my great grandma worked there for 60 years, you know, or whatever. My dad had the town's video store, Crowder's video. Remember those? He really dug deep for that name.
