I'm the Least Creative if I'm Miserable

I've always been drawn to work in that sense, that kind of character. A lot of british creativity has been rapped around ideas of melancholia,. And some ways i'm sort of one little strand of that along the line. For me what's always been interesting is it's the heart, in a sense. I want people to feel something when i've made work. You know, i want them to be moved, angry, sad, whatever. Emotion. It may be, i wants them to feel something. Music is great for memory and so much of my work tries to resonate with those qualities.
