The Scary Story of America's Unknown Child

The story of the boy in the box has passed on from generation to generation and hopes that a suffering will never be repeated. The headstone bearing the words America's unknown child was donated by the son of the man who had buried the boy in 1957. There was significant public attendance and media coverage at the burial with the grave's large headstone bearing the words "America's unknown child" To this day Philadelphia residents keep the grave decorated with flowers and stuffed animals and the story is still being told today.
