How to Use Pester to the Next Level
Pester was shipped with Windows for a short period of time. Now it's not shipping again with Windows, which I think is a good thing. Profiler is a tool that I wrote originally to work on Pester and its performance. It does internally a way more stuff than Pester 4 was doing. And when I tried to make them kind of comparable speed wise, I was spending my evenings just looking at the code,. running it over and over again; inserting measure, measure script or measure command. Let's inside of the code and just like guessing what's happening. Why is it so slow?
