The False Envision of the Future

The catechism condemns practices like divination that falsely unveil the future. But it doesn't have a problem with weathermen giving weather reports or they're not even 100% reliable. And so if it's legitimate in principle to learn about the future as long as you're not using one of these false means, then it would in principle be legitimate to view the future through some technological means such as traveling to it and seeing what happens.
