I don't know that I would feel comfortable saying this is the truth. What we want to identify is is pragmatic principles that guide our society and that we hold each other responsible for them, whether these are dangerous or not. No, but you surely must have an opinion, your own personal story. Do you think there's a self, a you, a core essence of characteristics that roughly speaking as a family resemblance idea of concepts, a concept of you? You might agree with somebody like Jordan Peterson's theory of truth as being pragmatic. It's what work. Truth is what works for a person.

The Blind Storyteller is an intellectual journey that draws on philosophy, anthropology, linguistics, cognitive science, and Berent’s own cutting-edge research. Iris Berent is a Professor of Psychology at Northeastern University, Boston, and the Director of the Language and Mind Lab. Berent’s research has examined how the mind works and how we think it does. She is the author of dozens of groundbreaking scientific publications and the recipient of numerous research grants. Her previous book, The Phonological Mind (Cambridge, 2013), was hailed by Steven Pinker as a “brilliant and fascinating analysis of how we produce and interpret sound.”
