What Is Good Typography?

At the time, there was a lot of debate within the design community about whether computers could actually do the work of typography that they're used to sending out to professional typographers. So I basically saw this as an opportunity of seeing like these professionals coming into my environment to run their output and teach me what good typography was. And so over time, I developed a following of professionals in the field that were coming to me for advice on how to make new computers work. That kind of grew into the next 25 years of my life.
