The real work in leadership takes time and consistency over time. I was fearful about reading Cal Newport's book because I'm a social person, like to be interacting with people. The shipping con being aware of what you were doing that's adding no value. And so I've chipped away a lot of things and been frankly quite surprised how much time is wasted on things that had no value or serve no purpose.
