Transcending Mission by Michael Stroup

Michael Stroup is a former IMB missionary. He taught at Southeastern and Southwestern Baptist Seven who is in his now chair and mission at Baylor University. This is a big book. It is heavily footnoted. It is pretty academic. I wouldn't recommend it as someone's first sort of exposure into the world of mythology. But for those who have got a little bit of reading under their belt, I think it is great. It is readable. And it's about our language of mission.
