Deep canvassing is the only political technique that actually persuades people to change their minds. It's not trying to persuade people, it's first silting an ampathetic connection that takes more time. By working together on things that we sort of can agree with, immediately it itch ges the way we engage with those bigger kind of issues. The problem with just pointing to deep canvassing is that it's only a technique.
