The Influence of Greek Medicine in Rome
Greek influence entered into rome from the second century, definitely. The romans had interactions with the greeks for a long time. In pliny we hear about the first doctor who comes to Rome from Greece. He doesn't get a very good reception and is known as 'the carnifex' because of his nasty techniques.
