The Relationship Between Black Political Power and Black Politics

Black political power at the urban level without progressive power in Washington can look a lot like flag independence in the post colony without an NIEO. I think there's some constraints and also dynamics in terms of these shifts. There are moments in electoral politics where that radical possibility does emerge, it does erupt. But I do think there's a sharp distinction between, say, a Wilson Good and Matullusia Corps.
