I spent a lot of time thinking about consumed by and trying not to be overwhelmed by the depth of human suffering. Imagine many worlds with his just infinite suffering. And in that boiling pot is a lobster, which represents the human condition. The devil. Because it's because life is suffering I don't know if you read the different foster Wallace considers a lobster. But for some reason still optimistic that we can get ourselves to a different place but the way things currently are,. or the way things have always been for for animals and humans.
