Most of the country's form reserves are gone, and it hasn't had access to global credit markets for two years. It faces a one billion dollar bond repayment in july, which is properly not going to be able to make. India has stepped in in a big way - they've started delivering fuel to shalanka. But shalankas can need more debt relief and more aid to stay afloat.
