What's the Story Behind That Name?

This is a member of the potato family, Solonaceae which is one of the potatoes. It's called commonly cannibals tomato and it comes from the South Pacific. Story goes that cannibals used this as an accompaniment when they were eating human flesh. These little orange like almost pustules are actually the seeds. And birds come along and eat these. They're quite sweet. But they are just bonkers to look at.
