The Diffusor
The diffuser was brought in to recover the lost downforce from the ground effects, which they don't have anymore by energizing massively the fusor. The obvious problem with just routing your your exhaust right there is that the moment you stop pushing the throttle, the exhaust stops going through. So it must have been mad the first time they had those things out on track.
