The Negative Effects of Thinking of Students as Antagonists

I mentioned having my teaching and my learning shaped by you. And it's also been shaped by many of the names and people and programs that you've spoke of already. So what does it look like I guess when we think of our students as antagonists? What are some of the things that might come into our practices and our mind sets when we thinking of students as they might be? You mentioned some examples. They might be getting away with something. But what are the kinds of things that our minds allow ourselves to think students might get away with if we think of them as antagonists?
