Trying to Keep Up With the New Trend?

When your creative work is just a result of trying to keep up, it is the least compelling thing on the planet. We all can see when artists are just trying, ii got to get on the next trend. And so when i've tried to train myself, when i hear that, that voice in my head that says, you're going to be left behind, i try to turn that thing down. I try to be like, no, i'm not going to jump on this just for that reason. Look, it's within reason. There are times when it's like, you feel a little impulse, i i'd better check that thing out.
