Is There Progress in Dealing With Economic Crime?
There has been some change in the UK already this year, but not nearly enough. There's also a really dispiriting willingness by many journalists to just publish whatever gimmicky thing the government has announced. So that's frustrating. But there has been progress though, as a recognition of this as a problem. And any way that we can try and reduce the field of operation available to financial crime and to kleptocracy means that we're increasing the size of the field available to democracy.
