On Mars, everything should pretty much work pretty straightforwardly because it is similar rocks and similar fluids. On Titan, we just have to assume that things are similar and we don't know. The fluid's density can change quite drastically just as it flows across its drainage basin. And so you have to kind of make assumptions on what a representative density is.
