The Germanic Identity, the Nebelungen League

The nebelungen league was something that was always held on to hard by people of germanic origin. The germans started out as a race identified by julius caesar as a group of tribes with wiver witan origin, and who came from over the river elba. These epic poetries give you a sense of being someone important, who belongs to a race of portant people. We can even actually see that the poem itself is eras used by the naes during the twentieth century for their own propaganda.
