How Do Smart Home Products Work?

I think it's interesting to consider here that in this statement, we're kind of making the assumption that the smart devices require some sort of power. We could probably debate that, but I think generally it's true that when people think of smart home products, they're powered by wired electricity or through a battery. Now, I also wanted to point out you use the term accessories. This is a tricky area when you're trying to come up with lowercase letter descriptors, nouns that can describe the types of things that make up a smart home.
