The Limiting Principles of Healthcare
The second you give up on the idea that there are limiting principles that bound and constrain your principles, it turns out you just don't have principles at all. JD Vance is starting to extol the Swedish healthcare model because his gateway drug into sort of Bernie Sandersism on healthcare is the fact that Sweden is skeptical about giving hormone blockers to young trans kids. He was citing some government agency study recommending hormone treatment for children only as part of clinical trials. There's much less hysteria and much less group think over there.
