GPT-4 is closing in on human expert performance in a great many domains it does seem to me like it's quite unclear what the next generation of that would bring obviously you guys are thinking something very similar there. So how did this project come about for a letter like how did you guys settle on a six-month pause how was the process like of like trying to bring a broad coalition together and was something that you guys actually thought might happen or just intended to be a conversation starter? "I think I did think manage to get the pause in this like came theoretic race assuming it is a game theoretic race," he says.
