The Blanco Blind Salamander
The blanco blind salamander could be like a canary in the coal mine, if we can find it. Andy says it could teach us a lot about this underground world. The edwards oquafer provides drinking water for two million people in the region. An urban development above the oquafer is threatening its delicate ecosystem. It's been over 70 years since this species has been seen.
