Using mecasine or using benzodias pines, which i'm commonly seeing used is that frowned upon? No, it's a very effective way to treat those patients. The problem is that they often get stuck on those medications, and they really need em for about three days. So you shouldn't be writing a prescription for more than three days for meclosine or one of the benso diesopins. Those are both effective therapies. But if you leave the patient on them for weeks, you prevent them from centrally compensating for their pathology.
