Is the Census Going to Add a Citizenship Question?

I think it's uncertain whether they could do so in the 2020 census only because the administration has represented that they have to print the forms by July 1st. Now, the plaintiffs in this case have represented that actually the hard deadline is October. So it's hypothetically possible for the administration to come up with a new proposal to add the citizenship question within the next few weeks and then get the forms printed in October. It's just not clear that that's going to happen or that they have the resources to do that in a legally valid way.
