In the early 2000s, I was really most sympathetic with what is called anarcho- anarcho-perminivism. Initially, it was super critical of the transhumanist worldview. Some of that was actually stemmed from Kurzwell's insistence that this is inevitable. And so for a while, I became convinced that this, a future at least somewhat resembling what Kurzweil prognosticates is maybe inevitable. It's inewlectable. It's unavoidable and then I thought well, if we can't stop this juggernaut of technology, maybe best thing to do is to hopefully like modify over time the trajectory of development.
