The Lazaretto Preservation Association
The seaplane base and flight school that had operated there from 1915 to 2000 finally shut down when the family who ran it retired. The property was sold to a developer who wanted to build to demolish everything and build an airport parking facility. That did not happen, thankfully, in part because Tinacam Township managed to with help from the state legislature by the property and save the buildings.
