How to Be a Better Person to Lead and Manage Folk

Churches as an employer need to have a vision for that. Termly training days really important, finding staff socials throughout the year is also massively helpful. If every time they have to do anything remotely HR-y it fills in with dread because they think this is going to take far too long or I'm going to add pressure to someone else who's already pressurised. We like to ask church staff members, if you were down the pub on a Thursday night with some non-Christian friends and they said, what's it like working for your church? How would you describe that and actually aspirationally how do you want that to be?"
