The Importance of Will in Action
We only know action either conforming to a formula, to a concept or approximating according to an ideal. How we exercise will in action is a total wastage of energy and I am going to show why. As we said, will is independent of what is and depending on the self, what it wants, not what it is, but what it wants. And that want depending on its circumstances, environment, culture and so, divorced from the fact. Therefore there is contradiction. There is a resistance against the what is. One is in the present. Action means the doing now, not tomorrow or having acted. That's what we call action. Now can there be action without the idea
