In the act of lying, liars should have a fight-or-flight response. But under conditions where you are justifying cheating, falsifying your results on this little game, you not only cheat more in those conditions, but you also have less of a physiological response. And so therefore, should we use this as an occasion to look at how cheating really starts to happen, which is often in school and think about using that as a motivation to change the way we think about teaching generally?
Is there such a thing as a victimless crime? In an unfair system, is dishonesty okay? And are adolescent vandals out of ideas?
