The author recently completed a study that i don't talk about in her book. She found people were happy talking to either replica tex messaging or having a face to face conversation, but they did feel closer bonds. With the ai conditioned, though, something that was interesting is they felt fewer negative evaluation concerns. So there's some beauty in that.
