Researchers have been looking at ways to try and slow down, or even stop these processes. Re programming cells is one of the sort main thrust of research that this new altos lab start up is going to be looking at. Other ideas are flushing thee cenescent cells from the body. These are the cells which have basely gone into some sort of sort of zombe state in the body.

And their efforts to extend life are under way too. Most recently, a Silicon Valley startup called Altos Labs signed up a dream team of scientists, including numerous Nobel laureates, with an aim to rejuvenate human cells.
