There's some lurking, Rawlsian thinking in some of the G3 commentary. I think this is coming through Van Drunen and then ultimately from VanDrunen. Some people think it's possible to have a set of laws that are not rooted in any particular comprehensive viewpoint. So basically what you end up doing is you create a one-way ratchet that favors secular comprehensive viewpoints.
